Native Food & Wine was started in 2009 by Amber Share and Kevin Lynch who combined their 30 years expertise in cooking, oenology and cultural history to create this food, wine and travel site. What inspires Native Food & Wine is the way that communities and cultures preserve their heritage, understand their land and meet their needs both for their survival and enjoyment. Native Food & Wine travels the globe to research and record how people have historically and currently produce what they eat and drink. The focus is on the people, places and those practices that bring food and wine to us all and that make for the pleasures we experience at the table.
