This photo was recently seen on the Wine Enthusiast Magazine site in a story written by Kevin.

Lunch at Fattoria San Donato Winery

While interviewing the owner and assistant wine maker at Fattoria San Donato near San Gimignano in Tuscany we were served a lunch of local cured meats, pecorino cheeses with chestnut honey and farro salad. Fattoria San Donato specializes in Vernaccia but they also make Vin Santo, Merlot and are experimenting with Rosé. The winery's facilities are in a medieval village the family purchased in 1932.

Opera Café Fried Poached Eggs, New Zealand

The other day we ate at the Opera Café in Havelhock North, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. I was surprised when I got my dish of lentil with poached eggs, rocket and harissa. Take a look at these eggs- they are first poached, then breaded and deep fried. I have no idea how this was accomplished while still leaving the yolk runny. That is quite a trick.

Rob's Patisserie, Auckland, New Zealand

Up at the corner, three doors down from our rented studio is Rob's Patisserie. They have fantastic pastries, including this savory pepper-steak meat pie. Incredible.
